Since 2016, Efeca has published palm oil annual progress reports as part of the UK Sustainable Palm Oil Initiative (now part of the UK Sustainable Commodities Initiative). These reports are associated with the industry-led UK Roundtable on Sourcing Palm Oil under the Partnerships for Forests programme.

This briefing brings together a summary of scientific research into the carbon emissions impact of palm oil, and how sustainable palm oil can reduce carbon emissions.  Carbon emissions are a major area of focus in the fight against climate change, with initiatives such as the Race to Zero campaign showcasing a growing cross-sector commitment to take action.
