Achievements
Big Sustainability Awards
We are proud to have been finalists at the Big Sustainability Awards in both 2022 and 2023. This highlights our commitment to promoting sustainable practices and the significant impact of our work in the Dorset community. Being finalists two years in a row underlines the importance of our mission and the dedication of our team, partners, and supporters. These awards celebrate businesses and organisations that have made outstanding contributions to sustainability, and our inclusion affirms our role as leaders in the movement towards sustainable palm oil.
Efeca’s Commitment
We at Efeca are committed to participate in the Dorset Sustainable Palm Oil Community Project
We have checked to ensure that where palm oil is present in our food (biscuits for the office), it is from sustainable sources.
By doing so, we know that we are fighting climate change and also helping to protect wildlife around the world from the impact of unsustainable agricultural practices.
Our Champions
Champions are businesses, organisations, schools, and universities in Dorset that have committed to sustainable palm oil practices.
To achieve “Champion” status, they have completed the organisation pledge, made one change, made a long-term commitment to only have sustainable palm oil (SPO) in all their food products, and lastly, they have put a policy statement on their website and social media detailing their commitment. They then have a certain amount of time to change ALL their food products to only having sustainable palm oil.
