Anthea Carter
Anthea is an independent sustainability consultant with over 15 years’ experience of working with multinational corporations, trade associations, the European Commission and NGOs.
Anthea led the implementation of the UK Government’s commitment to procure legal and sustainable timber. She subsequently worked with Efeca on its impact assessment, and was more recently part of the team providing EU Timber Regulation Due Diligence System Support.
Her experience on leather and rubber results from her role as Global Head of Corporate Responsibility for Clarks (footwear), where she regularly prepared briefings on corporate commitments, stakeholder initiatives and NGO perspectives.
