Our proven experience, technical knowledge and expertise on forest risk commodity supply chains enables us to understand issues and challenges related to the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) from the point of production through to end users.
The Efeca & Efeca Éire teams regularly participate in information sharing and collaboration on a range of topics relating to market and regulatory requirements, including the EU Deforestation Regulation with European and international platforms, associations and groups.
We have worked with a variety of national and international companies and associations to increase knowledge and awareness of the EU Deforestation Regulation, delivering training, webinars, presentations and workshops around what it means for different sectors and actors in a supply chain including Lidl Ireland, Kepak Group, SAI Platform (European Roundtable for Beef Sustainability) and Bord Bia.
We offer support on EUDR primarily through virtual or in-person upskilling sessions, webinars or presentations and question and answer sessions but we can also provide explainer documents and other resources as required. These can all be tailored to your companies’ specific requirements.
We also welcome opportunities to help facilitate collaboration on EUDR compliance across sectors or on national, regional or other levels. We believe collaboration of this kind will be crucial to ensure implementation of EUDR can be made practical for all.
